OUR BRIEF

To mark the launch of Hydrafacial’s latest innovation, the Hydralock HA Booster, Fox Collective was briefed to create an immersive, editorially-led brand experience that would both educate and excite. The goal was to introduce top-tier beauty press to the science and sensorial benefits of the new booster in a way that felt elevated, informative, and genuinely memorable.

OUR APPROACH

We designed a luxury 24-hour retreat at The Lakes by Yoo, a private, design-led estate nestled in the Cotswolds. The experience was crafted to combine beauty education, wellness, and high-touch personalisation, all centred around hydration.

We hosted five beauty specialists from leading UK publications, including both existing fans and those new to Hydrafacial. On arrival, guests were welcomed into an elegant lakeside house with sweeping views and their own private lake. In their rooms, a personalised itinerary was paired with a custom Hydralock HA PR mailer, featuring a booster vial, info card, branded towel, headband, water bottle, and a bespoke DryRobe in Hydrafacial’s brand colours.

Key moments from the retreat included:

  • Welcome lunch on the balcony, followed by a brand education session with Dr. Ana Mansouri in “The Snug”.
  • A deep dive into hydration science, exploring the clinical claims behind the booster and the role hydration plays across skin types, tones, ages, and hormonal stages
  • A private beauty breathwork session to enhance inner and outer radiance.
  • An intimate lakeside dinner cooked by a private chef, with guests soaking in the calm, golden-hour atmosphere.

The following morning, guests were treated to the Hydrafacial x Hydralock HA treatment in the estate’s Spa Studio. Hydration levels were measured before and after treatment using a Corneometer- the same device used in Hydrafacial’s clinical studies. The results spoke for themselves, with a visible glow and boosted hydration levels met with real-time enthusiasm.
